The Company was founded in 1972 in Aleppo, the second largest city in Syria, and

BARAKAT operates in total compliance with the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
norms set by the WHO. These norms are controlled by and a superior, hi-tech
quality control lab, divided to three labs:

- Microbiological Lab
Owing to its unremitting pursuit of perfection, the company had been awarded
the ISO 9001/2000 , ISO 14001:1996 and OHSAS 18001:1999 .

incorporates a number of highly qualified experts. Over 300 employees from various
scientific walks are systematically kept updated by means of special training
programs set up periodically by the Board to ensure the company's advancement,
