Pecta contains two active ingredients (Kaolin & Pectin). For the treatment of diarrhoea in children and adults .
COMPOSITION:
Each 5ml contains 1 gr kaolin & 25mg pectin .
PROPERTIES:
Kaolin absorbs toxins and poiseneous secretions due to enteritis, colitis and dysentry. Pectine helps in the restoration process of the intestinal mucous membrane.
INDICATIONS:
Pecta is indicated in :
- Acute and chronic diarrhoea in chidren and adults .
- Symptomatic therapy enteritis, colitis and foodpoisining .
PRECAUTIONS:
Patients with advanced hepatic and, or renal disorders should be treated with caution.

DOSAGE:
Infants up to 1 year 1/2 teaspoonful (5ml) 3-4 times daily . Children 1 -10 years 4 teaspoonful 3-4 times daily . Children 10 -14 and adults 4 tablespoonful (10ml) 4 times daily . or as directed by the physician .
