Barkavit A is vit. A Acetate (type 500)
COMPOSITION:
Each caps. Contains 50000 i.u. vit A
PROPERTIES:
The product contains vit A which is essential for growth.
INDICATIONS:
The product is indicated for the treatment and prophylaxis of vit A deficiency Syndroms Such as:
Nyctalopia, keratoualacia.
- Retarded growth, keratoderma unnatural skin Dryness. Mucosa and skin disorders. As an adjacent therapy in anti-acne cases.
CONTRA INDICATIONS:
This product should not be used by patient: with hypersensetivity to vit A. Or with severe Renal Failure, and in pregnancy a lactation
SIDE EFFECTS:
- Using this product for a long time in high doses. May Produce In some patients vit A poisinig with the following symptoms:
Mouth Gum Bleeding, Agitation, Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Skin Scaling, Baldness, Dry Hair, Anorexia.
- Acute vit A poisinig sydroms are: Vertigo, Nausea, Vomiting a Itching.
PRECAUTIONS:
This product can be administerdto children only under medical supervision
- Patients on vit A therapy for a long time should be moniterd for vit A poisining syndroms.
DOSAGE:
Usually one capsule daily, or as prescribed by the physician
